Worst behaviour of Dr. Poonam Bansal. I had an abscess drained at this hospital. Dr. Poonam Bansal performed the procedure. Before the surgery, I specifically asked her if anesthesia would be administered and if the procedure would be painful. She assured me that anesthesia would be provided and that I wouldn’t feel any pain. However, during the procedure, she did not administer any anesthesia, and the experience was extremely painful. It seemed as if she was in a hurry and didn’t want to take the time to give anesthesia. She made the incision without any form of pain relief. After the procedure, she instructed me to come back for dressing after one day. When I returned, she pulled on the cut area with scissors, which was also very painful. When I told her I was in pain, she responded aggressively, saying, “I’m not going to do your dressing. Go home and don’t come back.” I’ve never encountered such behavior from a doctor before. A similar situation occurred with my sister during her delivery. She was in pain while Dr. Bansal was stitching her, and when my sister expressed her discomfort, Dr. Bansal threatened to stop the procedure midway if she complained further. This behaviour is highly unprofessional and concerning, especially from someone responsible for patient care.
