District Hospital Kannur

Hospital and service is too good. Clean and hygiene. Staffs are also good. I have admitted for a surgery. And its done. The only bad thing is, don't book payward if you have surgery or CS. Payward is unhygienic and fully dust. Only 1-2 staff avail for 3 floor. So if you're going for sugery or CS please avoid payward.

As we all know, in olden days government hospitals were not so neat and tidy, but as you visit Kannur district government hospital you will surely surprised because that much improvement and facilities are there. The surroundings were Very neat and clean. All the departments have efficient doctors. Rabies vaccination have separate section there. We can have medical test for jobs (medical fitness certificate will be attested from here by concern doctors). In the entrance itself one milma tea stall is there, it also have a co-operative canteen is inside the hospital, and a shop which supplies essential things which may required by patients (admitted). Actually today I visited this hospital for my niece's immunization. All the vaccines were free of cost, at the same time these vaccines charges thousands of rupees in private hospitals. So I strongly recommend everyone to use all the facilities provided by them not only immunizations. The behaviour of staffs were also appreciable. Only problem I faced there was parking facility, literally there were too many vehicles parked inside and outside the hospital. On pandemic time new block was inaugurated near by the old building, the new building is also very neat and clean as a super multi speciality hospital.

A hospital with most of the facilities, good staff, and comfortable service. However, maintenance of the building, premises, and equipment is disappointing. See the pics, please take good care of it. Also, staff need to be dedicated, seen a sweeper was collecting water from the filter for dipping the mop!
