Today, 5 August 2024, around 12 AM, we went to Khowai Government Hospital with a patient. The duty doctor, John Debbarma, might be a postmortem doctor, not the other Dr. John who handles potassium issues. Dr. John Debbarma is a heavyset individual and was on duty at 12 AM on both 4 and 5 August 2024. His behavior was unacceptable. We brought in a serious patient, but people who arrived after us were seen before our patient. The security guard told us to get in line but didn't recognize who the first patient was. Are they blind? Dr. John Debbarma also scolded us to get in line, but how could we do that when our patient was in critical condition and we were the first to arrive? Some of the workers at Khowai Government Hospital, including the security personnel and Dr. John Debbarma, behaved very poorly. They are discriminating against Debbarma people. Dr. John Debbarma, despite being Debbarma himself, supported Bengali people. Most of the staff at Khowai Hospital are Bengali, which is why they only attended to Bengali people properly, ignoring us Debbarma people. We faced significant difficulties today.
