My experience with VMC was very disappointing. I consulted Dr. Vijayalakshmi for my second delivery. I got labor pain 10 days before my due date. When we went to the hospital, Dr. Vijayalakshmi was on leave. Dr. Rajalakshmi saw me instead. They said it was not real labor pain and told us to go back home. But I was in pain, so we requested them to admit me. That night, my pain got worse and started coming every 10 minutes. I was taken to the labor room immediately. There were no senior doctors at that time. I think only a duty doctor handled my delivery. The delivery was very difficult for me. The nurses were very rude. They kept telling me and my mom that they were not responsible if anything happened to my baby. It was very scary and stressful. I felt mentally disturbed by how they treated us. There was also no canteen service at night. We had to order food through Swiggy. It was an added stress during an already tough time. Overall, this was a very bad experience for me. What should have been a happy moment became a painful and traumatic one. I hope the hospital improves its staff behavior and makes sure proper care and basic services are available at all times.

I had a mixed experience during my visit. While there were a few positive aspects, several critical issues impacted my overall satisfaction. Parking & Security: The parking provided for customers was convenient; however, there was construction work happening without any prior notice. As a result, my car ended up covered in cement, and even after I reported the issue, no corrective actions were taken. Additionally, the security staff appeared outdated and were not very reliable. Insurance Process: The insurance service was extremely disappointing. Customers are required to contact the insurance directly and inform about the claim. Despite multiple calls and WhatsApp messages, I received no response from Vijaylakshmi’s insurance team. They ignore the customer fully. Room Quality: The rooms offered for an ENT patient were of poor quality. The options were limited to either A/C or non-A/C, and the overall condition of the room interiors and bathrooms was subpar. Although the cleaning staff did their best, with waste being collected approximately every three hours, the overall ambience was far from satisfactory. Food Service: On a positive note, the canteen staff were very reliable. They delivered food according to customer preferences and followed up to ensure satisfaction. Medical Staff: All the doctors (Dr. George Varghese and Dr. Rosanna) and nurses were kind, understanding, and demonstrated genuine care, which was a redeeming aspect of my experience. Overall, while the medical care and food service were commendable, significant improvements in parking management, security, insurance support, and room quality are needed. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to enhance future experiences.

Their attentiveness, compassion, and round-the-clock care made me feel safe and well-supported at every step. From regular check-ins to quick responses, their service was nothing short of excellent. I’m deeply thankful to the whole team at Vijayalakshmi Medical Center for making this life-changing experience so smooth and memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend this hospital to all expecting mothers looking for dedicated and personalised care
