Dr. Sujay's Heart Care Clinic

We had been consulting Dr. Sujay Rangan regularly for my father, and he had always assured us—after multiple tests—that my dad had no heart issues and everything was normal. However, our recent experience has left us heartbroken and deeply disappointed. Last week, my father experienced chest pain and was taken to NS Hospital. During the consultation, Dr. Sujay was extremely dismissive and spoke very rudely to my mother, who was trying to explain my father’s condition. He told her not to speak and even asked her to leave the room, which was shocking and hurtful, especially considering she was trying to help. Despite my father’s continued pain, all tests reportedly came back normal. He was admitted to the Cardiac ICU and then shifted to the ward. That night, he had another episode of intense pain, was again moved to the ICU, and we were told again that everything was fine. Tragically, he passed away early the next morning from what they said was a heart attack. Even after his death, the explanations were vague. We were told it could have been internal bleeding—but why was this not diagnosed while he was under observation for more than 24 hours in the ICU? If all tests were normal and the patient was still suffering, why wasn’t a broader diagnosis considered? I used to have great respect for Dr. Sujay, but this experience has left me questioning his approach. It felt like our concerns were ignored, the patient was neglected, and the communication was extremely poor. Even now, we don’t truly know what caused my father’s death. We trusted the doctor, but that trust was deeply misplaced.
