This hospital is located in a prime and easily accessible area of calicut, which is a huge plus for anyone needing quick access to quality medical care. The facility itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with a highly professional staff that ensures patients receive top-notch treatment across various specialties. One notable drawback, is the limited parking space. Given its central location, finding a parking spot can be quite challenging during peak hours, which may be inconvenient for patients and visitors. A paid parking facility is available nearby.

i visited Baby Memorial Hospital in Calicut twice today because i was experiencing severe period related pain, vomiting, and headache. Unfortunately, the service at the Casualty Department was extremely poor. The staff seemed more engaged in their casual conversations than attending to patients. When we asked for help, their responses were dismissive . Yeah, we'll come and look.but no one actually did anything. After being discharged, we had food at a nearby hotel, but her pain persisted. We returned to the same hospital, hoping for better care, but again received the same poor service. It felt like they just wanted to get rid of us rather than help. We ended up writing a complaint in their suggestion box, but honestly, it felt like they wouldn’t even look at it. Hospitals should prioritize patient care and compassion, especially in emergencies. Sadly, our experience was the opposite. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the quality of service.

Hospital staff are kind, but sadly, the hospital has become more focused on making money than on genuine patient care. Even for small health issues, they recommend admission and run several tests — whether needed or not — without proper explanation. This leads to long stays and huge bills. Hospitals are not supposed to be run like businesses. They are meant to serve society and provide care with responsibility and compassion. Unfortunately, Baby Memorial Hospital doesn’t feel like the same place it used to be. Earlier, it was more affordable and patient-friendly. Now, it feels more like a money-making system than a place of healing. I sincerely hope the hospital management and doctors reflects on this and brings back the values they once stood for.
