Initially I came to Dr. Darsana for a second opinion very early in my pregnancy. She came highly recommended by family-friends who are themselves doctors (surprisingly few from my side and also some other friends from my husband's side recommended the same doctor). After meeting her for the first time I felt heard as she addressed all my concerns patiently. That is a quality which is rare to find nowadays especially in doctors who are as busy as she is. The clinic where she does consultaions few days every week is very crowded on those days. Later, I came to know that most people in that locality have consulted her at the clinic for various gynaecological concerns and all of them had only good things to tell about her care. My pregnancy journey was rather comfortable thanks to her steering me through all of the sudden surprises. Despite being diagnosed with GDM in the 36th week I had a normal delivery after induction. I had a great experience with Dr. Darsana. Her passion for her proffession reflected throughout in the decisions she made for my pregnancy, my induction and during my delivery. She stayed by me and her presence, kindness and sense of humour got me through the procedures before, during and after labour. After so many days of the birth of my child, my recovery, and having listened tales of others' labour, I can tell undoubtedly that I was lucky to have her as my doctor. I would recommend her to anyone as a doctor who can be trusted to take your best interests into consideration .
