A Govt. Hospital. Well Experienced doctors for women and children. In the Hsptl Men interactions are limited by the Hsptl Rule.. Doctors with good behaviour. Clean and neat Hsptl.. So staffs provide priority for that. No Vehicle parking facility in the hospital compound.. Hosptal provided the small parking area oposit of the Hospital.. The way to the parking area through a narrow road and full time rush.. One main problem is that even if we need a Tea or coffee , need to go outside.. There is a canteen in the hospital.. Per day Rs.6000 is needed for running the canteen as Rent.. So Every canteen running persons quit from there.. So we can say there is no Canteen...

Very bad experience. The first impression lies. You have to be a patient to know what the conditions of this hospital is. Doctors shout, nurses shout, sweepers shout, especially the security shouts whenever they see you. Not just us, but to everyone. 1.YOU COME FOR A TREATMENT, YOU GET TREATED LIKE YOU DID WRONG COMING HERE. Staffs LOOK DOWN on patients (most of them or else you must be an officer in govt. dept. or such high rank ) IMPOLITE BEHAVIOUR. 2. MOSQUITOES. Always take some repellent. Bring a mosquito bat, you may have fun competing with other patients 'who killed more?' 🥲 honestly. 3. Don't be surprised if staffs starting from security starts SCOLDING YOU for rules you DIDN'T KNOW you have to follow, instead of them correcting you as they should. Also don't be surprised if you see a doctor scolding a mother who just went through delivary being scolded publicly in a ward. 4. If you think you'll be treated soon and can go home, you are WRONG. Spent 3 days here, still got no specific doctor who'd take responsibility for your treatment. The fact that surprised me the most is that if you ask the doctor who came for rounds for a certificate she replies "THIS HANDWRITING in your med sheet doesn't belong to any one in our team. SO YOU HAVE NO DOCTOR" After days being admitted no doctor!!! 😑 5. Bathrooms are poorly facilitated. Atleast tile well the floor so it is hygienic. Drinking water and routine cleaning is the good side. But slow treatment and behaviour are all bad.

It is very disappointing to write a negative review about this hospital. Till today I felt very proud to have such a government hospital which is specialised for mother and children. Even though I'm not from Kozhikode, me and my family had a very good impression and is well known about the facilities which they provided. I used to hear very good feedback from those who have been here previously. With lot of expectation I planned to take my wife to consult there for her first pregnancy. During the very first visit itself the behaviour of security was very impolite. There after all procedures including consulting the doctor also felt like a difficult task.(They all behaved in such a manner as if the institute belongs to them). Even then we didn't loose our hope and continued to consult there itself.(bcoz the name which has already hitted my mind super!!! hospital.. efficient doctors....).The second consultation was very appealing (Thank god !) The doctor behaved very politely and advised my wife to get admitted within couple of days that was today , and my wife was advised to do some lab test and RTPCR test (even for parent who is staying with her also). Today when my wife came for consultation immediately after seeing my wife, doctor was shouting and asking her why did you come here. She was advised to admit in medical college itseems. And she was yelling at my wife saying if she decides herselfs then why to take doctors opinion. Her behaviour was totally unprofessional. It was very disppointing to hear the language they used. Felt very frustrated after what has happened today. After she consulted in Medical college Calicut everything went good, she came back to home with Peace of mind, there was nothing to worry.. It was happened to hear same experience from others also....,,😔 Is this what we expect from government hospitals? When a patient comes for treatment, gets fired by the staffs who work there ! Bring out rules which upholds patient comfort and safety.
