Dear PMSA Management, My wife was admitted to your hospital from 27/04/2025 for delivery, and we stayed for three days. Overall, we are satisfied with the treatment and nursing care provided. However, as a newly established hospital, we believe there are some important areas that require attention and improvement. The following points are highlighted respectfully for the management’s consideration, not as complaints, but as constructive feedback: 1. Customer Feedback System: There is no visible mechanism for collecting customer feedback, and no GR (Guest Relations) or PR (Public Relations) staff were available, as confirmed at the reception. 2. Guest Waiting Areas: There are no proper fans in the guest seating areas across all floors, including the Ground Floor (GF) and Basement 1 (B1), which are major customer waiting zones. 3. Labour Room Ventilation: During our stay, the HVAC system in the labour room failed, causing discomfort to my wife. Please ensure sufficient FANS are provided as backup. Kindly note, the labour room rent of ₹2,000 deserves a minimum comfort guarantee. 4. Lift Car Operation: Both lift cars often moved in the same direction/any direction simultaneously, leading to long waiting times. This can be avoided by programming one lift to go upward and the other downward during peak hours. 5. Safety Railings: The railings on all floors and balconies have wide gaps between floor and bottom horizontal bars, that could pose a serious safety risk for children. Please consider adding additional rods or barriers to close these gaps. 6. Electrical Safety in Shops: In the Ground Floor coffee shop, the main electrical distribution board (DB) is located inside the shop counter and is obstructed by stored items. This poses a serious fire risk and makes emergency access difficult. Technically, a DB should always be accessible and unobstructed. 7. Firefighting System – CO₂ Cylinders Missing Refill/Inspection Stickers In the firefighting system, Observed cylinders are without valid refill or inspection stickers. This violates standard fire safety regulations, as each cylinder must have updated certification indicating the last refill date, inspection status, and expiry period. Immediate compliance is necessary to ensure operational readiness and safety during emergencies. 8. Main Entrance Safety: The left side last row of sofas at the main entrance is placed dangerously close to a drop to the basement. Children were seen climbing on them, creating a risk of falling over the safety rails. Please remove or relocate these sofas. 9. Penthouse Roof Access: The entry doors to the penthouse/rooftop area were found unlocked, allowing unrestricted access. This poses a safety risk, especially for children. 10. Canteen Hygiene: Hygiene standards in the canteen are poor. Juice was served in dirty glasses, and even after replacing, the issue repeated with the next order. 11. Shops in Front of OP Counters: Shops selling chocolates and packed junk food are located directly in front of the OP counters. This causes inconvenience to parents trying to restrict such items for their children. 12. Glass Roof Leak: The glass roofing near the left side main door has a leak, causing water to fall onto the floor and potentially leading to slippery hazards. 13. Prayer Room at B3: The gents’ prayer room in B3 is being used for sleeping by some individuals, making it difficult and uncomfortable for others to pray in the limited space. 14. B3 Parking Exit: Vehicles exiting the B3 parking are being diverted to a muddy, uneven path with potholes through another property. This is inconvenient and unsafe. Kindly ensure a proper exit route is maintained. Once again, we highlight these concerns with the genuine intention to support your growth and improvement. We sincerely appreciate the medical care provided and hope these suggestions will contribute to an even better experience for future patients and visitors. By SFK Contct:ksalmanfaris@gmailcom
