Makunda Christian Leprosy and General Hospital

We were lucky to see a doctor from abroad visiting the orthopaedic department. He examined my mother thoroughly and explained the condition. But I'm very skeptical about the young doctors running the place, they are probably inexperienced. The location is very pleasant with greenery all across but you won't find any convenient place to stay except a couple of houses owned by local people with no proper sanitation. Come as early as 6:30 a.m. especially on the weekend to get everything done sooner otherwise you'll have to wait for at least 3 hours to get your name called.

Very bad management. Pathetic condition, for a simple MBBS doctor consultation need to wait for 5-6 hour's. No proper response from any staffs, you can't even find them. It's looks like hospital is run by nurses only no other people. Doctors also freshers no proper experience in medical. They take their prescription, They are doing Joke in the name of treatment. They don't cake about patient problem. The first kind of experience in my life in the name of missionary hospital. If they are telling machinery hospital and subsidiary then they must care about patient first and their problem and issues rather than they all are busy in their own and no proper management, care.

One of the best hospital in Barak valley for low cost treatment. They believe in low cost service among the people. Doctors are really polite and humble. If any body want to go there first you have take bus or hire car from Karimganj to Bajarichera if will take 1.5hour after reaching Bajarichera you will get small road on left side by taking this you will reach Makunda hospital.
