Very good experience..All the staffs and Doctors are very professional and helpful.I was taken care by an MD Medicine Consultant. The Consultant and all the Doctors are very polite, gentle and especially the Consultant gave a very detailed explanation about my illness and available treatment options.Considering it to be in rural area, it's a blessing to local population who do not have the means to go to Shillong or Guwahati for treatment. God Bless Bethany Hospital.

The Nurses and Staff were very nice and Helpful, but that's where the good ends for me. I had to stay at the hospital for 4 days, and during one of the routine patient check-ups by Dr. Phrang Kupar Swer, he was very rude to me. I had asked the nurse to delay an Antibiotic injection in the morning because I was extremely weak and was literally on the bathroom floor almost blacked out and she said it was okay to wait for the doctor who would come to check on me in a few hours. When Dr. Swer came to check in on me, I asked him about the injection and if the fever I had was the type of disease to run it's course or if it was a disease that needed treatment to shorten my recovery time. Literally only this. He then started rambling to me about how I'm trying to dictate my treatment and how I don't trust his treatment. He also ranted about how hard it was to study to be a doctor and how he didn't cheat but worked hard to get where he is, how tough the competition is and how I didn't know anything so I should not be the one talking and he gave me an ultimatum, if I didn't want his treatment, I could leave the hospital and get treatment elsewhere or I could stay and give my full trust in his treatment and not question it. I only asked these questions so I could understand my problem better, and because I didn't know because I'm not a doctor, I'm not sure why he had to drill that point in because I was asking for HIS professional opinion, and he was taking it as an attack on his ego. Maybe he felt a sense of superiority because I'm a 17 year old, but I'm still his patient and he should maintain professionalism. My mother was very uncomfortable about the way the doctor confronted me, I wasn't bothered much by him, but I made a mistake by not saying anything to him after that. I did end up staying till the end of his treatment. I'm writing this review because the hospital didn't provide a form for me to write a review of my treatment and stay experience (like they used to do before) so anyone else going to this hospital will know what they're dealing with.
