Dear All, Open your eyes wide and read closely. we were very happy and joyous ever since we heard the news that we are pregnant and soon going to add up a family member and we patiently waited until the day of delivery. Obliviously we were on cloud 9 while enjoying pregnancy journey. But who knew that nerve wrenching incident was waiting for us to encounter with. On the day of delivery my wife's BP was started fluctuating and reached up to 160/100 which is obliviously on higher side for a pregnant lady. on enquiring with THE NIDHI MADAAN, she prescribed us to increase dosage of BP controlling pill, which we obliged and waited for some time as doctor told us that this a normal phenomenon at the last stage of pregnancy journey and BP can be subdued just by taking the pill which made us felt relaxed and comfortable. but when even after 2-3 hrs of waiting BP hadn't lowered down, we called the THE NIDHI MADAAN again and after discussing with her she called us to the hospital to have a C-section and get the delivery done. She did everything in hurry ( from hospital formalities to giving anesthesia to my wife) as the hospital timings were over and she was about to leave after getting away with the delivery procedure. With the grace of GOD, We had blessed with a healthy baby Boy ( 3.5 kgs ) but Pediatrician ( NOT Neonatologists) present there told us that your baby has inhaled the meconium and he has to get admitted for treatment and there is nothing serious about it will take 2-3 days to get recovered. after fighting with life for 4 days he succumbed to almighty's decision and left us devasted. Doctor didn't bother to look into our matter with utter seriousness, she should have prescribed us to go for another USG to know the exact sate of affair. Or She should have got it checked somehow that what is the current situation of the baby before exercising the C-sec, but she overlooked everything and put over baby's life in danger on purpose. I came to know about doctor's fault, when i enquired with the higher profile doctors from GangaRam Hospital where after going through my baby's case, i got to learn that it was the Gynae who should be held responsible. Guys, it doesn't matter now as once its done, its done. What is gone is gone forever and its never going to retreat itself. I just want you guys if you are planning for a baby look for the prestigious and well experienced doctors and not the ones who are there just to expand their business. Malhotra Hospital was the hospital where my baby was admitted and took his last breathe. I swallowed the bait but you take wise step.
