I highly recommend this Hosptial. As a UK traveler it was great to be treated by a doctor that spoke amazing English and was so caring. My partner caught typhoid and we were very nervous about it. The nurses and Dr Akshita not only healed her infection but also helped ease our minds. We stayed in the hospital for 6 days and were made to feel very comfortable and safe . Everyday multiple nurses and doctors visited our room consistently checking if we were okay and this made us feel safe and taken care of. Dr Akshita is amazing and was very intuitive as a doctor. She wanted us to be happy and smiley and so would come and talk to us, answering our many questions and easing our worries. The nurses were all so sensitive and caring. If you are a traveler and you need any help, I would highly recommend this place!

Bakhetia Hospital is amazing. I was treated for Typhoid here after being really sick for a week and the care given here was better than what I receive back home in the UK. I was tested promptly upon arrival and with little waiting time given test results and a clear prognosis of treatment for Typhoid. I ended up being admitted for a 5 day course of antibiotics on IV and parasite treatment too. Being a tourist abroad this should have been a frightening experience but the incredible Dr Akshita and all the wonderful nursing staff, Neha, Sonia, Akshal and everybody working here were just so kind, caring, compassionate and patient and put me at ease, made me feel at home and gave me the time and attention to ease anxiety and any concerns and questions I had daily. Nursing care was 24/7, I was supported by the lovely nurse Sonia throughout the night to ensure I was ok and my vitals were always checked and monitored routinely. The treatment given was really thorough too, I was given fluids for rehydration, multivitamins and probiotics which helped fast track my recovery. I also loved that the hospital is family run with pretty much an all female team which was important for me as a female traveller. To add to the amazing medical care given here, they also generously provided a gentle diet of homemade Ayurvedic Khichdi to ease my stomach which was so comforting and helped replenish and restore my health. This hospital really is the one to choose if you're a tourist abroad in need of treatment or urgent care. I truly felt cared for and in safe hands and can't thank Dr Akshita enough for getting me better not just physically but supporting me to feel myself again mentally too, she is a truly gifted Doctor. I have been so incredibly sick the last five days (vomiting, diarrhoea, fever, weak, no energy) and have been to three hospitals now including this one. The last two I didn’t receive good service or treatment nor did I feel safe and they gave me medication without knowing what my condition was. I came to Bakhetia Hospital tonight through a recommendation of my taxi driver and I’m so grateful that I did. They saw me straight away and set up a plan of action of what they would do. I was hesitant to get IV drips based on my experience at the other hospitals but Dr Akshita quickly put me at ease and made me feel so safe and comfortable. She was so kind and really placed an emphasis on ensuring that as a patient you get the best possible care. I found out through my stool and blood test tonight that I have Typhoid and a parasite in my intestines, they’ve given me oral medication to take and explained in detail when and how to take it. I cannot express how good this hospital is. So if you’re like me, a foreigner who just wants to feel healthy again, I 100% recommend you come here.
