It was during the sixth month of pregnancy. Wishing our baby to arrive in paternal recidense at Sagar, me and my wife traveled from Mumbai to Sagar. While we made this choice, we were deeply apprehensive if we will find a good medical facility, somewhere with same ease, warmth, attentiveness, skill-level, proactivity, concern, and compassion that we found in Mumbai's doctors. And no, we didn't find Dr. Durga and Dr. Prince immediately, even though their clinic is few blocks away from our paternal house, partly because they are young and their practice has began to bloom just recently. So .. for a month, we checked through probably every gynecologist in Sagar. Without needing to mention the names, I can warn that... 1. Some places are so horribly crowded, you'd feel as if they were designed as human-sized chicken-cages in a poultry. (You may amuse yourself by naming the types of coughing and sneezing, while you wait to see the doctor.) 2. Some places have the grand-old doctor with a special nureotic obsession with 💇 C-sec surgery, they see a chord lying two inches from a baby's neck and hear them how it is a case for C-sec, with no possibility of normal birth. 3. Some trust based hospitals, only pose as a trust hospital. They will charge you pretty much the same for everything and provide harrasment while calling it care. Don't go for this trust-charity blabber. 4. Some, already notorious for multiple instances, hospitals look good for their infrastructure, but hire money-vampires as staff. They will suck every last drop of money that you kept for your not-yet-arrived kid's schooling or so 😁 5. Some government affiliated facilities are really filled with experienced and respected senior doctors like Narela Madam, and Dr. Manju Khan, but those places are often unhygienic, which is particularly troubling during a pandemic or infectious times. So... finally, in the above-mentioned wave, we came to Dr. Durga, and were instantly delighted when my wife admired and praised her un-hurried attentiveness, studious research on her subjects, fabulously minimal and apt clinical interior, with sober management that didn't involve crowd, unhygienic stuff, or any other type of carelessness. This was one movement that we felt, which later came out true in exactly every way, that we found the good doctors, and can relax and rely on her wits and insights for bringing our baby to the beautiful world. Finally, on 26th October, we contacted her in morning as the time seemed arriving. She promptly responded, we reached to Chaitanya Hospital firstly but unfortunately the private rooms were unavailable and place seemed overcrowded at that day, so on Dr. Durga's recommendation we moved immediately to Surya Hospital, a newly built medical facility with economical services in good quality. There the labour room had my wife immediately admited, and after calculating her time precisely, the Doctor rushed away and arrived back briskly from her OPD, to finally help our baby through the birth, which turned out to be a happy and healthy birth at 4:20. highly recommended and heartily thanked for her sincere advise and great support during all the process.
