Woodland Hospital

Worst hospital in the whole of Meghalaya. A village primary health centre is far more better in terms of Service. Reached at 9 o clock early and had to wait for the doctors for 5 hours. The management is unprofessional at its core, the staff and nurses act as if they are the president of the Country or royal beings, thinking that the patients are peasants. Very very disappointing. Never ever visiting this Hospital again.

The management here is unprofessional and inadequate. My wife and I arrived at the new Block D for scanning at 9:45 am and submitted the required documents, yet we waited for hours without being called. We noticed that many who arrived after us were called before us. When we approached the nurse to check if my wife's name had been overlooked, she dismissed us in a rude tone and simply told us to continue waiting. This is completely unacceptable. We came early to get our scanning done in one day, but instead, this has caused us significant inconvenience due to their unwillingness to assist or listen to our concerns. The only positive aspect of this place is the quality of the doctors.

Worst Hospital in Shillong. I recently visited Woodland Hospital, and my experience was deeply disappointing. While I must acknowledge that the doctors are knowledgeable and skilled, the rest of the staff completely ruins the experience. The receptionists are extremely unprofessional, rude, and lack basic courtesy, making the process of checking in unnecessarily stressful. The nurses and support staff are equally uncooperative and seem disinterested in helping patients. Simple requests are met with irritation, and there’s a clear lack of empathy. The hospital’s overall hospitality is non-existent, leaving patients and their families feeling unwelcome and frustrated. It’s unfortunate that such good doctors are overshadowed by the poor management and rude behavior of the staff. Woodland Hospital needs a serious overhaul in terms of customer service and staff training. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend this hospital unless you’re prepared to deal with unprofessionalism at every step.
