Tripura Sundari Hospital

THis place has been the heart of the city for over a decade and still doing so but now this place has been relocated on a different place and as for this facility it will become a medical college in few years. As far as your daily needs goes you can visit the same for any problems you might have.

Tripura Sundari Hospital is more than one hundred years old, built on a high ground. Presently it is a distt hospital but soon it will be degraded as a sub divisional hosp with all its health care facilities when distt hosp will be constructed nearby. Doctors are rarely seen at the OPD or wards but available at their chambers, medicine and path labs on hosp rd, dakbungalow rd nearby. Political parties like CPIM, RSP run on black money. Even the state govt is sympathetic to smugglers, black mkt for pecuniary reasons. Life is slow but everything is costly. Coins are not available. A glass od tea (50 ml) costs Rs 5/-. No public transport is seen. Auto fare is rs 8/- min but take rs 10 as rs 2 coins are non existent. Local SBI introduced coins of lakhs of rupees but smugglers absorbed all.
