We didn’t know that we were going to meet the best gynecologist in town until we entered Pavani mam’s cabin. Yes, we didn’t have any prior idea about Anu my baby hospital and the doctors there. We just selected Anu my baby hospital as it is nearest from our location. During my first visit to the hospital on 12.05.2024, the receptionist sent us to Dr.Pavani as she was the one available at that time. As we are not fluent in telugu, we expected a doctor who understands either Hindi or Tamil. But Pavani mam surprised us speaking both the languages fluently. This was my second pregnancy. I was much worried and scared about pregnancy and labor due to the horrible experience I had during my first delivery at my home town. After listening to my previous experience and worries, Pavani mam said to me: “Tikina..I am sure you would definitely enjoy your pregnancy and labor here”. She educated me during every visit. She listened patiently to my worries and concerns and guided me how to overcome it. She never ignored any of my questions, opinions and thoughts at any point of time during my pregnancy and labor. She simply gives time to listen and answers. She understands and connects to our emotions and ensures we get the support we need. Initially I and my partner felt insecure about opting hospital at Vijayawada as we are away from our parents and relatives. Also people around made us scare saying it would be difficult to manage without the presence of parents. But I never felt insecure, the education and emotional support from Pavani mam made me confident and strong. When asked about the necessity for the presence of parents during delivery, Pavani mam said, only presence of your partner is enough we will take care of the rest. She asked us to give her a call 24/7 in case of emergency. Since I wanted to wait until I get natural pain, she has not forced me to get admitted even though I crossed 40weeks of pregnancy. She explained me technically and allowed me to take a decision. She respected my decision to postpone. During my labor mam was seen running to delivery room as the pain increased quicker than the expected. She is such a responsible and caring. With Pavani mam’s all the support I gave birth (Normal Vaginal Delivery) to healthy baby girl on 04.11.2024 in a “very short labor time”. I was discharged from hospital in less than 24 hrs from the time of delivery. Pavani mam is a modern day doctor with whole hearted dedication and enthusiasm. Ma’am! as you assured me, "You made me enjoy my pregnancy and labor". Thank you so much for everything ma'am ☺

The hospital staff were also very kind and supportive, making us feel comfortable and welcome during such an important time in our lives.
