District Hospital Dimapur

Admitted my Dad and stayed for 9 days at Cabin 11. The Doctors and nurses were very attentive and supportive. Not trying to exaggerate but I really felt special. Thanks to all the Doctors and nurses (including student nurses). The only and most important drawback I found was, there are no ramps (or lift-if I'm being imagery) in the building or within the hospital. It was a big problem lifting my Dad on a stretcher or pushing him on the uneven ground from one building to another for tests etc... else services received from the staff were awesome. Felt like "home away from home".

I'm giving 3 star out of 5 because of friendly and kind doctors... District hospital has become much much better than before. But needs a great change in equipments.. we come with the hope of spending less with health matters. But we are advised to go from one place to another. If we can agree that DOCTORS and NURSES are well experienced and got a job in govt hospital through exams etc. then there should be a Good equipments too. Why do they need to open another private hospital, they have their own equipments in their private hospital but not in govt hospital. Why 2 in 1 ??? They refer from govt to private hospital and the private ones are theirs only. Which is way too expensive.. I'm rather confused if the Doctors are even complaining about hospital negligence.

We spent 10 days in the hospital in Cabin 11 and the experience was very good, almost too good to be true. People usually think SBI staffs and government hospital staffs as the same, impatient and arrogant. But I tell you it's not so. Sometimes it's the reflection of how you are to others. Over all, the doctors, nurses staffs were all good, kind, attentive and supportive. Charges for tests were minimal. The total expenses are budget friendly. I would recommend and refer it to friends and family members. Do away all preconceived perceptions and experience it for youself.
